Bahamian delight

My excitement at receiving a friends invitation to attend her nuptials fifteen hours away on the beautiful island of the Freeport Grand Bahamas never faded as I planned, schemed, flew through a thousand airports connecting to get here.
Freeport at first glance sparkled like a little jewel in the sea through the window of a insanely small aircraft that was my Miami connection as we banked to make our landing.
As we touch down and alighted I barely listened to my stewardess stridently reminding passengers to be here early enough for immigration on our way back. All I heard was that we were now on island time.
The strain of island music that famous blend of steel drums , soca and root Reggae got me gyrating through immigration to what was five days of pure sybaritic pleasure for all my senses. Please enjoy the pics MG
